Our Mission: "To be the best we can in all that we do."

It's that simple.

The team at Mechanix are here to look after you. We guarantee everything we do 100% and will do whatever it takes to get the job done properly.

paulnPaul Nielson

Workshop Manager. Director. Chief. Head Honcho. The lead dog! Paul has owned and operated his own workshop for the past 6 years. Prior to that he managed various workshops in the Auckland area. His early career included time in the parts business so he knows where to source the best parts at the best prices! Paul may not look like James Bond, but he is darn good at what he does. His passion for vehicles extends to his spare time where he finds great delight in screaming along tiny gravel roads in a rally car. (Call it a 'Licence to Thrill' perhaps?)

benBen

Ben brings a wealth of experience to the team and is Paul's new right hand man. He has managed workshops on the shore and he brings some new ideas to the team at Mechanix. Ben lives with his partner in town, enjoys motor-sport and cars (not hard to guess that eh?). His haircut is a work of art and despite how he looks in this photo, he is a big softy & really nice guy!

danielDaniel

Daniel comes from a family of automotive interest. His parents run a successful panelbeating business in Grey Lynn and Daniel has inherited a natural affinity for fixing things. He has been with us for 3 years and is in the process of finishing his trade certification through AUT. Daniel has just bought his first house so will probably be working for us for the next 150 years to pay it off...

jacksonJackson

Jackson is the team mascot. After hours he takes Daniel home to organise his dinner, but when he is at work, he keeps everyone amused during their breaks. If you have a spare hour or two, throw the tennis ball for him to fetch. Good luck trying to get away.

paulrPaul Robinson

The 'non-mechanic' in the team. Paul has owned and operated workshops for the past 15 years in West Auckland. He is the poor schmuck who has to deal with the mass of paperwork generated by the hard working mechanics. When not stuck behind the desk he escapes to his other job flying choppers. Lets him keep an eye on things above.
